Hartland Friends – The Parents Association, has been set up to extend the community ethos of the school by involving parents in special events which may include the children and members of staff of the school. We provide a support system for parents new to Hartland International School, and particularly to Dubai in the form of class representatives. They play an important role at Hartland and are the link between the class parents and Hartland Friends.
The New Parents Coffee morning takes place at the start of term in September and is repeated at the start of each new term. This is aimed at parents new to Hartland and all class representatives are encouraged to attend. Hartland Friends offer support in preparation and organisation of both the Union and Cultural Awareness Day at school, as well as organising the annual fun day in Term 2. Parents work with the whole school community to produce displays, food and activities for everyone to enjoy.
